And I definitely have to say something that's confused most of the time, clumsy, chaotic, probably super messy.
🦝 Why I picked a raccoon for you
1. You are intensely curious.
You don't seem capable of simply wondering about something. You have to investigate it.
A normal person: “Mushrooms are interesting.”
You: “Okay, but WHAT KIND? Why does it grow there? Are they poisonous? What folklore surrounds them? Can I grow them? What does a mushroom biome look like? Also, let's learn about cryptids.”
That is raccoon behavior. 😂
2. You're a little chaotic, but it's functional chaos.
Raccoons have that energy of:
“I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but I'm going to figure it out.”
And honestly? That feels very you.
You juggle homeschooling, kids, gardening, crafts, parties, photography, books, games, cooking, decorating, planning, random projects that suddenly become VERY IMPORTANT...
…and somehow the response to realizing there's too much going on is usually:
“Okay. Let's make a list.”
😂
3. You're resourceful as hell.
This is probably the biggest reason.
Raccoons are ridiculously adaptable. They aren't particularly intimidating or powerful animals, but they are clever little survivors who figure out how to make things work with whatever is available.
You have that same “Well, I don't have X, so what can I do with Y?” mentality.
You don't seem particularly interested in doing things the easiest or most conventional way just because that's how they're normally done. You'll improvise, DIY, repurpose, modify, bargain-hunt, make something yourself, or completely invent a new solution.
Very raccoon.
🖤 4. You have a soft, sentimental side underneath the mischief.
This is actually a big part of why I didn't pick something like a fox.
There's a tenderness to you that doesn't necessarily announce itself immediately.
You're very attached to traditions, memories, family experiences, little rituals, keepsakes, seasonal things, handmade things, photographs, ornaments, celebrations, etc.
You don't just want to do things.
You want them to mean something.
That's very different from simply being adventurous or creative.
🌙 5. You are a night creature.
This one is almost comically appropriate.
Raccoons are nocturnal little weirdos who come alive when everyone else is asleep.
And your personality has a definite:
“It's 11:47 PM and I have just had an incredible idea.”
energy.
You also have a natural attraction toward the slightly strange and mysterious—Halloween, ghosts, horror, folklore, abandoned places, weird animals, paranormal stuff, unsolved mysteries...
You're not drawn exclusively toward the pretty and polished.
You like the weird stuff hiding in the corners.
🍂 6. You have cozy scavenger energy.
This is the part I tried to capture in the illustration.
You seem to collect experiences, hobbies, projects, little treasures, ideas, traditions, books, crafts, decorations, plants, memories...
A raccoon basically looks at the world and goes:
“Ooh. What's that? Can I have it?”
And honestly, that's you with hobbies.
😂
You don't have a hobby.
You have approximately 47 hobbies in various stages of development.
🦝 But there's another reason...
Raccoons are often misunderstood.
They're sometimes treated as nuisances or troublemakers because they're messy, stubborn, curious little creatures that don't exactly conform to expectations.
But underneath that, they're intelligent, adaptable, social, playful, observant, and incredibly resilient.
And I think that is the strongest resemblance.
You have a very “I may be a mess, but I'm MY mess, and we're going to figure this out” quality.
So if I had to describe your personality as an animal:
A raccoon living in a cozy haunted cottage, surrounded by craft supplies, books, garden seedlings, half-finished projects, snacks, three different planners, and one extremely questionable idea she just got at 1 AM.
Yep.
Raccoon. Absolutely. 🦝🖤🍄
What about you? What animal do you think represents your personality?
