1. What was the last book you read? 
Read and completed? The Twisted Dead by Darcy Coates

2. Was it a good one? 
Yeah I enjoyed it. It's a series I love that I'm trying to finish.

3. What made it good? 
The characters mostly. It has some of my all time favorite characters in it.

4. Would you recommend it to other people? 
Definitely.

5. How often do you read? 
Not as much as I'd like.

6. Do you like to read? 
Well.. Yeah?

7. What was the last bad book you read? 
Hmm, On the Surface by Rachel McGuire wasn't great.

8. What made you dislike it? 
I was bored.

9. Do you wish to be a writer?
Nah, I used to want to but that's too much pressure.

10. Has any book ever influenced you greatly? 
Hmm, I don't think so really.

11. Do you read fan fiction? 
I used to, I loved Draco fanfiction.

12. Do you write fan fiction?
Again, I used to.

13. What’s your favorite book?
According to a ranking website I did The Only One Left by Riley Sager is my favorite. But that can change depending on mood.

14. What’s your least favorite book?
Uhhhh. The first thing that comes to mind is Emma. I hated that book so much.

15. Do you prefer physical books or read on a device? 
I like to listen to audio most, mostly because I'm super ADD lately and I can't focus on physical books. But I collect physical books.

16. When did you learn to read? 
Kindergarten?

17. What is your favourite book you had to read in school? 
Animal Farm or Little Women

18. What is your favorite book series? 
The Selection 

19. Who is your favourite author? 
Riley Sager, Grady Hendrix, April Henry, and Natalie D. Richards

20. What is your favourite genre? 
YA, horror, mystery thriller, apocalyptic, survival, mental health.

21. Who is your favourite character in a book series? 
Cress from The Lunar Chronicles. But really anyone in that series. 

22. Has a book ever transported you somewhere else?
Eh, transported? No. 

23. Which book do you wish had a sequel? 
Uhhh. That's so hard. Rayne and Delilah's Midnite Matinee.

24. Which book do you wish DIDN’T have a sequel? 
I don't really care if a book has a sequel I didn't like, I just wouldn't read it again. 

25. How long does it take you to read a book? 
Anywhere from 2 hours to a week.

26. Do you like when books become movies? 
I do.

27. Which book was ruined by its movie adaptation? 
Not ruined per say, but Ready Player One as an adaptation is the worst adaptation I've seen. I liked the movie don't get me wrong, but it was nothing like the book.

28. Which movie has done a book justice? 
The Hunger Games and Harry Potter.

29. Do you read newspapers? 
No

30. Do you read magazines? 
No.

31. Do you prefer newspapers or magazines? 
Neither

32. Do you read while in bed? 
Yes

33. Do you read while on the toilet? 
Sometimes

34. Do you read while in the car? 
No, I get car sick

35. Do you read while in the bath? 
Yes

Yes.

38. Where is your favourite place to read?
Bed or couch

39. Is it hard for you to concentrate when you read? 
Sometimes

40. Do you need a room to be silent while you read? 
Sometimes

Hmm, I don't know. My grandma and my mom both love to read, so I guess them?

42. What book is next on your list to read? I'm about to start Small Spaces by Katherine Arden. Trying to finish my 2024 reading challenge. Yes I know this is posted in January, leave me alone.

43. When did you start to read chapter books? 
Uhhh, I don't really know.

44. Who is your favourite children’s book author? 
Like middle grade or children's children's? If children's children's we really love Sandra Boyton.
If middle grade either R.L.Stine, K.R. Alexander, or Margaret Peterson Haddix.

45. Which author would you most want to interview? 
Oh gosh... Stephen King? Riley Sager? NO WAIT! Grady Hendrix, I bet he's a lot of fun. 

46. Which author do you think you’d be friends with? 
Grady Hendrix.

47. What book have you reread the most? 
The Selection books!

48. Which books do you consider ‘classics’? 
I guess anything published before like 1950.

49. Which books do you think should be taught in every school? 
Hmm, that's rough. I very much believe it's important to read books that are about the government trying to take over, so if it happens we're better prepared. Also medical, survival, etc books. This is why I homeschool.

50. Which books should be banned from all schools? 
I don't think books should be banned. I think they should be age appropriate (I.E. Don't have 50 shades of grey in schools), but I think it's up to the parents and not schools to dictate what their kids can or can't read.

  1. I absolutely second N°49 and N°50. Especially given the current political climate...*shudders*

    I would love to interview Seanan McGuire, but at the same time, I'm sure I'd feel intimidated LOL. Not because she's actually intimidating...

    I learned to read at a very young age too - my mum and my grandma used to read to me, and at 4 y.o., I was already able to do it on my own.

  2. OOoh fun! I might try to do this one this weekend! Wayyy back in my blogging day I did get to interview a few authors, I guess now I'd pick Stephanie Garber! LOL.

    Ironically I just wrote a random post where I talk about how I can read in the car! For a little awhile at least as long as the roads are smooth and not winding ones! Too many turns going up a mountain like hill did get me nauseous so I had to set the book down for that trip!
