Weekly Wrap Up: October 19th-26th
Life Stuff:
This week sucked. There's no other way to say it. I have had this horrible abdominal pain since last Sunday and Tuesday I finally went to urgent care thinking maybe it's my gallbladder. It wasn't, they said everything looks fine. Gallbladder is fine, no gallstones, everything is fine. Went home. Lived life Wednesday, rescheduled our movie for Friday because I was not feeling good.
Thursday comes around and the pain is so much worse, I can barely move. I ended up vomiting and we went to the ER concerned it was my appendix.
Get to the ER, they do ALL kinds of tests, urine, blood, CT, ultrasound. They end up saying it's because I have cysts on my ovaries... Guess what? I have PCOS, yes I have cysts.
They said that's why I'm in pain, even though the pain is in my upper right abdomen and nowhere near my ovaries.
Friday my dad took off so he could watch June because I was in so much pain I could not.
Friday my dad took off so he could watch June because I was in so much pain I could not.
I'm so frustrated, we had to cancel our movie, John took June to a birthday party without me. I can still barely move.
Went to urgent care last night.. Again. They did a CT again, blood work, etc. I loved the doctor though, he listened and validated. He's like yeah no, it's not caused from PCOS and they just wanted you out as fast as they could.
He said I need to go to the GI and it sounds like an ulcer. Sooo that's the next step.
Coming up this week:
We have two doctor appointments for the kids on Monday, just well checks. Then I have an appointment with a nutritionist after. I have a photoshoot Tuesday, a WIC appointment Thursday, and then Friday is Halloween! Saturday we'll be going to the Day of the Dead festival!
Finn/June learned:
Finn is focusing on online school (So he's mostly doing it on his own) and we did a lot of journaling this week.
June is learning all about colors, shapes, letters, numbers, body parts, and emotions!

I am soooo sorry about what you are going through with pain and the medical. I hope the GI scope gives the doctor some real answers for you. If it is an ulcer you will have to make some adjustments to your diet. I love all of the photos, even though some are in the ER. I will light a healing candle for you. Sending healing energy to you.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds horrible, I have heard they are painful, and especially if one pops? Ugh, no, I do not want to think of that. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about all you've gone through this week and still don't have any answers. I hope the GI doctor can figure this out. Good luck with it!
