Weekly Wrap Up: October 5th-11th

Life Stuff:

Whooo this week was a whole thing! Monday we had Finn's neurology appointment to talk about getting him off his epilepsy medicine and then I took the kids to the park, Tuesday we didn't do much, Wednesday we had church with Finn, Thursday Seth and Alli came over and then Seth and John both went to the men's Bible study. And while they were at the Bible study our electricity went out and did not come back on.

And if you don't know this, in Texas it's very hot. Like I think the high was 91 or so on Thursday. So we ended up staying the night at Seth and Alli's because it was just too hot. So we did not sleep well.

Friday we went to the Domain to get my phone fixed (It was so cracked on the back it has a gaping hole in it and my system was taking up 66 gigs of space. Which is ridiculous) While they fixed it at Apple we took the kids to Lush, Velvet Taco, and then to get gourmet cupcakes! It was a lot of fun but of course I didn't get pictures because I didn't have my phone and husbands do not think of taking photos.

After that we drove an hour and a half to Buc-ees so John could do a trade and it was so busy because of the OU and UT game on Saturday, we couldn't even walk in Buc-ees it was so full and busy. So we just went home. Then they came and got Finn and I read a book.

Saturday we got up early because every Saturday there is an event on the game me and Finn play and then after that we drove an hour to a state park to spend time with Seth, Alli, and our life group from Church.

While we waited on them to finish their hike we went to The Gas Station which is the actual gas station they filmed the OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre at. They had BBQ and so much horror merch. The horror nerd in me was fangirling the whole time.

After that we went to Buc-ees (Since we didn't get to go on Friday)
And then we spent the rest of the day at the state park.

We got home around 8PM and I read and went to bed early. 

All in all it was a good week, just very busy. I spent a lot of the week organizing and cleaning doing laundry and reading, and then with everything else we did it was just exhausting.

Coming up this week:

School, reading, movies, family night (We're doing bored games tonight!)

Then this weekend we're going to Fredericksburg 

Finn/June learned:

Finn is focusing on online school (So he's mostly doing it on his own) and we did a lot of journaling this week.

June is learning all about colors, shapes, letters, numbers, body parts, and emotions!
