Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon: April 2026- Hours 1-6

What I've done while reading:

Ate breakfast! Watered my plants. Played some phone games. I sat outside in the hammock for a bit, did some cleaning, made lunch.

Are you planning on reading outside?

Technically I was reading while watering my plants. But it is supposed to storm later so I'll sit outside then.

Hour 3:

Hour 3: Favorite readathon traditions. Whether during Dewey's or not, what are some of your favorite traditions, personal guidelines, or tricks you like to return to?

I love to play games while I listen to my books. I also like to take a bath later in the day! It usually wakes me up when I get sleepy.

I like to read short books and see how many I can get done in the 24 hours. I would LOVE to read at least 20!

Hour 4: Have you finished any books?

As of hour 3 and then by the end of hour 4 I was 5 books in.

Hour 5:

Hour 5: Are you naturally a night owl or a morning lark (morning person)? When is your best time of day for focused reading?

I'm some sort of perpetually tired pigeon tbh... 
I have bad insomnia and am NOT a morning person, but I don't read much at night. I have a hard time focusing when I'm awake but tired.

 

Hour 6:

Hour 6- Are you including crafts or other hobbies in your readathon day today?

I'll be playing minecraft, sims, or animal crossing I'm sure.
