Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon: April 2026- Intro Post

It's that time of year again! The SPRING Dewey's 24 hour readathon! Aaaaaahhhh. I am so excited, there's something just so amazing about reading ALL day and getting all excited for it!
This year I even got a shirt custom made! This is the design, obviously going full goblin mode this year.

John said he is going to watch the girls so I don't have to stop reading, but we both know that, as a parent, I will definitely be distracted and helping with the girls. I will also probably read to them! Indie REALLY loves to read.

Introduction:
What fine part of the world are you reading from today?:
Texas!
Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?:
Uuuuuhm.

Which snacks are you most looking forward to?:
So we've started doing family nights on Saturday's and because this falls on a Saturday I decided to make a themed family night too.
So I think out of ALL of the snacks I'm mostly looking forward to Katniss bread and goat cheese, The Very Hungry Caterpillar's fruit salad, the butterbeer floats (Harry Potter), and the Dragon's Love Tacos mini tacos. I also love my peanut MnMs and gardettos!

Tell us a little something about yourself!:
I'm a stay at home homeschooling mama. I have 5 kids! Finn (12), two angel babies (Greyson and Henry), and two adopted daughters, Indie-Jo, and Juniper.
I'm a photographer, gamer, bibliophile, horror buff, I love to make lists and take notes ALL the time.. Uhm, I also love to garden! That's my newest hobby! I love seeing things I planted as a seed growing! I will probably garden while reading, because I have a bunch of seedlings that need planted.

Here are the books I hope to finish this readathon:
(They're all really short- 2.5 Hours and under on 3x speed.) I'm actually KINDA cheating because I'm starting tonight (It's Friday) and reading ALL day tomorrow and then some Sunday until I get through ALL of these short books. I think it's like 36 hours of reading total. And I should get through 2/3 of it on Saturday.
